Our enchanting Petit Trunk Show on Valentine’s Day features the uber talented, design duo of Janice Joseph & Barbara Lunger; the forces behind the exquisitely beautiful collection, that is - “Bijoux Redux”.
Vignettes is honored to debut Bijoux Redux to the monde & on Valentine’s Day, they will unveil their charming new line of 14K gold & sterling silver love tokens for an exclusive first look.
Translated from French, Bijoux (bee zhoo), refers to a “delicate trinket”, a small jewel or ornamental object & Redux (ree duks), describes something “revived” or brought back, especially in being restored to former importance or prominence.
In this spirit, antique collectors & jewelry designers, Janice & Barbara have created a collection of custom jewelry joining beloved, sentimental items from the past with equally treasured & valued elements from the present.
The antique & vintage, 14k & sterling silver elements; lockets, charms, coins, crosses, medals & fobs presented in this collection are thoughtfully gathered, designed & fabricated into one-of-a-kind: Necklaces, Bracelets & Earrings.
In their revived form, these unique pieces are once again destined to become treasured tokens of love & true sentimental objects of affection.

I’ve known her for over twenty years & whenever we’d run into each other around town she was always working on one fabulous project or another, or just finishing a photo shoot of her work for one of the major magazines.
Then, finally, the moon & the stars aligned & she officially came on board here at the shop, &, drum roll please, she is now designing our front windows! Ta-Dah! Mademoiselle has arrived!
She specializes in custom couture sewing for the home & her work is part genius, part Edith Head & ultimately – luxe, fabric fantasies made to order that beautifully adorn the maison. Her work exudes refined detailing, old world craftsmanship & bespoke tailoring at every corner. From linen, burlap & French ticking to haute couture satin & dupioni silks, she takes fabric on a magically creative, millinery carpet ride that transforms it into high-style fashion for every room of the house.
Her rich, on-trend repertoire includes:
Pillows in every style imaginable; hand-screened, silk-screened & monogramed; Complete ensemble bedding for the ultimate boudoir; Window treatments from elaborate ballroom to stylized European; Fabric headers, valances & headboards; & Slipcovers extraordinaire, tout avec a sophisticated twist of piping, pleating, edging, layering or that red hot look of can-can ruffles.
