We’ve been busy giving the shop a Parisian makeover

& cleaning, painting, re-merchandising, sprucing up & all the things you do when company is coming!
All of our 24 dealers are busy stockpiling special merchandise & stunning collections (Chanel, Chanel, Chanel) to unveil at the party & getting their rooms, spaces & showcases ready for their close-ups!
Also, be sure & bring your camera that day as we have a very special photo op for you…an 8 foot tall, cardboard Eiffel Tower with tourists posing under it with cut-outs for you to put your faces in! Oh Mais Oui – Quelle Fun! This could be the photo you’ll want to use on your Christmas cards this year!

Mon Obsession - Les French Macarons!

It’s official. I’ve become obsessed with the hottest dessert trend to hit since the cupcake…..the French Macaron!

The fabulous pastel colors, the texture, the fillings…

Oh My!

The whole experience is a visual feast for the senses.

I’ve even started collecting photographs of them…Oh Dear!

Never to be confused with the coconut “macaroon”, these dainty, cream-filled sandwich cookies have it all. They are amazingly delicieux, their pastel color palette is gorgeous to behold & they are, of course, totally F r e n c h.

Quite simply, the French Macaron is delectable, edible art.

When it came time to plan les patisseries for Vignettes’ anniversary soiree, I knew that les French Macarons had to take center stage. That’s when I called upon my friend & collaborator, Miss Vivian of Azucar (It helps to have amies in high places!) & she put me in touch with the Macaron

M A S T E R of the Universe, Monsieur Thierry Cahez of Opera Patisserie Fines.

Not only does he make the finest, classic Parisian Macarons for his award-winning café & bakery but he supplies most of the restaurants in town with theirs! That’s because his are the ultimate French indulgence!

That’s where the mounds & mounds of gorgeous pastel,

French Macarons will be holding court!

Indulge Yourself & Bon Appetit!
