We have been scouring the countryside & Europe to deck the shop with over-the-top, vintage coastal settings, decor & accessories so you’ll be able to find inspiration & one-of-a-kind seaside treasures in every nook & corner - to officially launch the summer entertaining season. It’s your exclusive, first look at what our seashore holds!
Collections of vintage bathing suits (Ooh La La!) will be on display intermingled with the brilliant creations of artist/designer Karen Lampard of Café Paperie as she takes on the swimsuits of the French Riveria, circa 1940’s, each of hers - fashioned from paper!
The shop is also proud to showcase the opulent seashell artistry of designer Bonnie Hickman of The Shell Room who designs for the royal family of Norway. Major pieces from her current collection will be on view & available for sale. These all need to be seen to be believed. Jaw-dropping, shell art extraordinaire as opulent home decor
Each of the shop’s floor space dealer/designers will be staging their spaces with vintage finds & interpreting “vintage summer” in their own way with striped cabanas, summertime settings under market umbrellas, unique, vintage seaside décor for entertaining & in addition, each will host an array of French market specialties, fruits de mer, les fromages, baguettes & gourmet accoutrements in their individual areas.
And of course - French wines & Champagnes will be pouring to complete the South of France experience. Une autre Ooh La La!
And since no summer fete would be complete without a vintage 1950’s, refurbished travel trailer, the shop is proud to show-off designer Sandra Finn’s latest acquisition, “Le Petite Caravan de Francais”, which will be available for rental, photo shoots & stagings. This completely remodeled French bungalow on wheels will be showcased in the shop’s back yard/lot in the middle of a bustling French-style flea market set up just for Saturday’s celebration with multiple vendors for the ultimate outdoor shopping experience. Come shop Glamarella Junk, Paris Flea Market, Sheri 4 Sure, What Mama Had, Michelle Scott & many others. Major sales, mark-downs & items being brought in just for the day will be featured.
