Not since William and Kate’s lavish wedding last year has there been such a display of pomp, circumstance, jewels, finery and over the top outfits as yesterday at our wild “Queen For A Day” Valentine Soiree!
There was a magnificent visual feast served up everywhere you looked and the guests attending the soiree fit right in! Women seized the opportunity to get decked out and mingle amongst the fabulous settings that every dealer at Vignettes had lovingly created. And just when you thought you’d seen the most outrageous outfit ~ in walked another one!
All in all it was another one for the books ~ we had worked for months on this one, getting every little detail right and the icing on the gateau was hosting the lovely Meryl Schoenbaum, Executive Editor of Romantic Homes Magazine who so graciously spoke to every devoted follower and then signed copies of the February issue. (A very special issue for us as inside she had written a wonderful article in the 'Shopkeeping' section about Vignettes.) Merci Beaucoup Meryl!
So ~ pull up a chair, get cozy and enjoy the pastel, sugar-coated, be-jeweled world that is Vignettes.

I too loved seeing all the creative ways people dressed, and heard many remark how amazing the shop was! Always, a "Show-Stopper" event with every little detail done to perfection. Thank you for all the beauty! Congratulations on your Romantic Homes spread! You are so deserving of it......

I was one of the fortunate that got to witness Vignettes in person on their special day. Even though I didn't get to stay for the soiree, it was worth the long travel time to experience the ambiance of the shop. One of the special displays that you didn't have a photo of was the beautiful red velvet sweetheart chair. Sorry it couldn't stay for the soiree either because it had to come home with me. If you want to take a peek at it, you can view it on my blog. Thanks for all your hard work and your staff was incredible in helping with the merchandise during your busy day. It was a memorable Valentine's shopping spree.
I have to say that this is one of the best Valentine's party I have ever been to. The displays were the most creative I've ever seen. From Marie Antoinette to the wonderful costumes people wore. The icing on the cake was Meryl Schoenbaum from Romantic Homes. It was a Day I'll never forget.
