We are so honored to present an awe-inspiring Gallery Exhibition at our anniversary

event on September 27th featuring the exquisite art, paper and fashion of designer/artist, Karen Lampard, who will be unveiling her collection ~

 La Vie en Fleurs.

Drawing inspiration from the magnificent, timeless gardens of Europe, Karen deftly crafts a world of floral splendor using paint, watercolors, paper and textiles and creates an incomparable array of paper sculptures and sumptuous, painted haute couture with a trompe l’oeil effect.

From delicate paper bouquets, garlands, gowns and corsets, to painted floral fabrics and large scale canvases, Karen weaves her brilliant imagination and exceptional artistry to masterfully create illusions. Is the opulent, pleated gown made from fabric or created in paper? Is the pale pink rose real, or, a watercolor muslin version? You’ll have to look again and again. Floral paintings come alive on the canvas, hand-painted floral fabrics seem to bloom from the furnishings they upholster, life-size paper gowns waltz with abandon and handcrafted paper and fabric flowers mingle with their real counterparts so convincingly that one can almost smell their fragrance.
