We
always like to kick it up several notches for our parties and events and the Rachel Ashwell, “My Floral Affair”
book-signing event
coming
up this Saturday, May 19th is no exception.
In
addition to the shop being transformed by all the mega talented vendors here,
the Point Loma Garden Club is
designing custom floral arrangements that will be offered for sale and all the
proceeds will go back to the club to help support on-going workshops and
seminars on gardening, floral design and horticulture.
Also,
the delightful Point Loma Tea will
be here with a floral tea created especially for this day ~ Tuscan Garden Tea Blend over ice. Cheryl Graf’s signature teas are the
talk of the town!
Designing
the whimsical floral backdrops for the pink pavilion where Rachel will be
signing her books is our own national treasure, Karen Lampard of Café
Paperie. Spoiler Alert: Her watercolor, flower splashed banners intertwined
with plaster and textile roses fill the
senses with beauty and truly blur the lines between real and hand drawn so
convincingly that you can almost smell their fragrance!
Adding
fresh flowers and her unique, rustic floral designs thru out the shop is the
mega talented, Rachel Polk of Three Sparrows.
This
is definitely going to be one ~ over the
top garden party
that
you don’t want to miss!
See
you here.
